Former Goods Vehicle Testing Station, Brunel Road, Salisbury SP2 7PU
We were contracted to completely demolish all the buildings on the above site, including carrying out the asbestos removal, grubbing up all the footings and foundations, breaking out all the hardstanding’s, crushing all the concrete and hardcore arisings to 6F2 and stockpiling on site, and clearing all other arisings from site. We successfully carried out these works two weeks quicker than the program required. We were subsequently employed to carry out the groundworks.
Salisbury Groundworks
Following the successful completion of our demolition works on the same site, we were subsequently appointed to undertake the groundworks and drainage package. The site was reduced to formation level, after which all new drainage runs were installed using Milton ring systems.
Pad foundations were constructed to support the new steel-framed building. The project is currently progressing well, with kerbing to the footpaths now being installed. Works are advancing in line with the programme, ensuring the project remains on schedule.
